What do you get when you take Wood's Maple Syrup from Vermont and age it in a Hudson Whiskey bourbon barrel? Why, a truly exceptional barrel-aged syrup destined to elevate everything from breakfast to cocktails of course.
Here's how it goes: First, bourbon barrels are tipped and the liquid is off to fill bottles of Bright Lights, Big Bourbon. Those freshly tipped barrels, still saturated with the amazing flavor and smell of bourbon, are quickly shipped to Vermont where Wood's fills them with their gorgeous maple syrup where it then infuses with all the essence of the bourbon barrels, creating this amazing syrup - luxury beyond the ordinary.
*On a related note, these barrels are then emptied and shipped back where we fill them with our rye to create the ever-popular Short Stack maple-infused rye.
