Hudson Whiskey's Calvados Cask Rye is a bold, grain-forward, no-holds-barred straight rye whiskey finished in ex-calvados casks. Distilled from New York grain and aged in new charred American oak barrels for 3.5 years and finished for an additional 3.5 years in ex-calvados casks that adds subtle fruitiness with notes of rich vanilla, citrus and corn bread on the nose. Lingering notes of cashew butter and caramel on the palate. Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
